A few days after their initial sound test in ARCC 414 they went back to the room to work on the piece some more, but when they played it the first time something very strange happened. After just a few moments of playing the piece again a mysterious black triangular device appeared towards the front of the room.

After the initial shock wore off they started to exam it a bit closer. The device is approximately 2′ x 2′ with two lasers projecting from the front of it, as well as a myriad of colorful light. After some initial testing it was discovered that the device only appeared when the original audio piece was playing, functioning like some sort of bridge between the worlds.

The two lasers projecting out of the front of the device were creating patterns on the wall, some static and others animated; as well as emitting tones from both the left and the right and the block of color seemed to change with the tones. When an eventual 5 minute loop was discovered, it was decided this was a language of some sort.
